About Us

Judes Driving School was established in Warragul in the early 1980s. Judes is now the longest running driving school in the Warragul, Drouin and West Gippsland districts. The school was purchased in 1997 by Dave Paterson. Chris Unstead joined Dave two years later and after 18 years working together, Chris purchased the school in February 2018.

With a keen interest in road safety and the continued safety of newly licensed drivers, Judes has undertaken a continuous path of constant growth to become the largest driving school in Warragul, Drouin and West Gippsland. Judes is the only driving school able to offer a complete range of services to all learners.

The goal of Judes Driving School is to bring complete driver training to all drivers through its many training programs, thus making all our newly licensed drivers and our roads, safer.

Judes was the first and only school to implement a Hazard Perception Training program in Victoria. This program provides students with an insight into the operation of the VicRoads Hazard Perception test and builds their hazard awareness, risk avoidance and overall road skills.
